Sparfloxacin 0.3% Eye Drops

Sparfloxacin Eye Drops - Indication

1. Bacterial Conjunctivitis
2. Corneal ulcers
3. Keratitis
4. Blepharitis
5. Dacrocystitis
6. Trachoma
7. Keratoconjunctivitis

Dosage

Instill One to Two drops in the affected eye or as per directed by the physician.

Mechanism of Action

Sparfloxacin is a bacteriostatic at low concentration and bactericidal at high concentration. It acts by inhibiting the enzyme DNA gyrase necessary for replication resulting in cell death.
