Composition

Latanoprost 0.005% + Timolol 0.5% Eye Drops

Dosage

One drop of Solution once daily in the affected eye.

Mechanism of Action

Latanoprost is an isopropyl ester prodrug. It is a topical medication used for controlling the progression of glaucoma or ocular hypertension, by reducing intraocular pressure. Lantanoprost is a prostaglandin analogue that works by increasing the outflow of aqueous fluid from the eyes.

Timolol is a (non-selective) adrenergic receptor blocking agent which hepls in anti glaucomic activity when combined with latanoprost.
