Ketorolac Tromethamine + Dexamethasone Eye Drops - Indication

Allergic conjunctivitis (PINK EYE) treatment of post-operative inflammation, corneal ulcer.

Dosage

Instill Two drops into the affected eye every 15 minutes for the first six hours and then two drops into the affected eye every 30 minutes for the remainder of the first day.

Mechanism of Action

Ketorolac tromethamine has a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory analgesic effect by inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis by competitive blocking of the enzyme cyclooxygenase (COX).

Ketorolac is a non-selective COX inhibitor.Dexamethasone has inhibitory effect of on leukocyte infiltration in inflammatory sites.
