Flurbiprofen + Chloramphenicol Eye Drops - Indication

Flurbiprofen works by reducing hormones that cause inflammation and pain in the body.
Flurbiprofen ophthalmic (for the eye) is used to prevent your pupil from constricting or narrowing during eye surgery.

Dosage

Dosage is usually given every 30 minutes beginning 2 hours before your surgery.

Mechanism of Action

Preventing a decrease in pupil size during surgery. Flurbiprofen drops are a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug. It works by blocking a certain substance that causes inflammation (redness, swelling, and irritation).
