Composition

Ketorolac 0.5% + Fluorometholone 0.1% Eye Drops

Dosage

One drop of eyetrust ophthalmic solution four times a day.

Mechanism of Action

Ketorolac is an anti-inflammatory agent with analgesic and antipyretic properties. Fluorometholone is glucocorticoid employed in the treatment of allergic and inflammatory conditions of the eye. Fluorometholone acts by the induction of lipocortins. These proteins (lipocortins) control the biosynthesis of potent mediators of inflammation such as prostaglandins and leukotrienes by inhibiting the release of their common precursor, arachidonic acid.
